Below is a list of the gear i plan to use during the trek. I have abandoned the "ultra-light" approach but still plan to go somewhat "lightweight." My pack will probably range from 30 to 45 pounds, depending upon the climate i am in and the distance to the next resupply point. I do not plan to carry all of the gear below at the same time. Some items will be used only for sections of the trail. Other items will undoubtedly be replaced or sent home when i decide they are not worth their weight.
